Vindeby — offshore wind farm — 5 MW, Denmark, 1991

Wind turbinesVindeby is the world’s debut offshore wind farm, a co-project of Danish DONG Energy (in 1991 – DONG) and German Siemens.

The wind park comprises 11 Siemens wind turbines having a aggregate capacity of 5 MW. As of early 2016 it is totally owned by DONG Energy.
