Apr 10, 2017 – The debut charging stations for electromobiles in the Russian city of Samara will be launched by the end of 2017, Volga Interregional Distribution Grid Company, a unit of Rosseti (Russian Grids), said on its Web site.
“Volga Interregional Distribution Grid Company, a unit of Rosseti (Russian Grids), will build the first charging stations for electromobiles this year near business centers, new housing areas and large hotels,” the statement said.
The stations will look like wall-mounted vandal-resistant panels having two sockets, color indication of the charging process and user identification using special access cards. They will be intended for simultaneous charging of two cars, and an average charging time will be about four hours. A total of five such stations are to be commissioned this year.
