Oct 11, 2019 – Russian electrical grids operator Rosseti plans to launch a program to develop charging infrastructure for electric vehicles – the 30/30 Program – in 30 major cities of Russia until 2024.
The 30/30 Program is to cover more than 30 major cities including those with a population of over one million, and over 30 highways. The company wants to construct a network of more than 770 charging stations.
Convenience for consumers is the main guidance for Rosseti. The company will install the charging stations in shopping malls and courtyards of residential neighborhoods. It also intends to cooperate with the cities located near rivers to develop charging points for water electric transport.
