Gukovskaya (Kamensko-Krasnosulinskaya) – 198 MW, Russia, 2020

Sep 25, 2019 – A consortium between Inter RAO – Engineering and Comprehensive Energy Solutions will act as a contractor to build the first stage of the Gukovskaya wind farm with a capacity of 98.8 MW in the Krasnosulinsky district of Russia’s Rostov region.

The Gukovskaya (previously referred to as Kamensko-Krasnosulinskaya) onshore wind farm with a capacity of 198 MW will be built in the Rostov region of Russia. It will consist of 52 Vestas V126-3.45 MW wind turbines in an optimized version of 3.8 MW.

In December 2018, Wind Energy Development Fund and Danish wind turbine maker Vestas agreed on supplies and installation of equipment for the power plant starting from October 2019.

In September 2019, Russian companies Inter RAO – Engineering and Comprehensive Energy Solutions announced the plans to become the EPC contractors of the first stage of the Gukovskaya facility with a capacity of 98.8 MW. The Gukovskaya-1 plant will consist of 26 Vestas wind power turbines. The wind farm will begin sending electricity to the wholesale electricity and capacity market in the first half of 2020.
