Danish pension funds to invest USD50 million in renewable energy transition until 2030

Sep 23, 2019 – Danish private pension funds have pledged to invest more than USD50 billion in green energy assets over the next decade to tackle the climate change as part of the country’s desire to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 70% until 2030.

Denmark’s pension funds Pension Denmark, PKA, PFA and PenSam funds will invest 350 billion Danish kroner (about USD52 billion) in the energy infrastructure, green stocks and bonds and energy-efficient construction in the period.
