China Power International Development (China Power)

China Power International Development, or simply China Power, also known as China Power International Holding (CPIH), is a core subsidiary of China’s state-owned enterprise State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) incorporated in 2004 in Hong Kong to develop and operate traditional and renewable energy projects.

As of the end of 2017, the company had a total installed capacity of 35.17 GW, of which 44.87% was renewable energy.

In September 2019, China Power signed a memorandum of understanding with Norway’s Equinor to cooperate on offshore wind in China and Europe.
