Apple, BMW, Daimler electric car talks fail

BMWApr 20, 2016 – Automobile giants BMW and Daimler were reportedly in talks with Apple concerning the potential partnership to create an electric car for the tech company, according to Tech Insider. The talks however have been suspended as the parties failed to agree on the leadership in the project as well as copyright for the future project’s data.

Earlier this week German periodical Frankfurter Allgemeine said Apple may have concluded an electric car development agreement with Magna, an engineering company from Austria. Besides, there was information that Apple owns a secret laboratory in Berlin.

None of the mentioned companies agreed to comment on the situation.
